RSE Parent Consultation
The Department for Education has announced changes to Relationships and Sex education (RSE). These changes came into effect from September 2020 and must be in place by the Summer Term 2021. All schools are required to comply with the updated requirements. This means that we are in the process of reviewing our RSE curriculum and policy so we can be sure our RSE provision is appropriate for our pupils based on their:
Physical and emotional maturity
Religious and cultural backgrounds
Special educational needs and/or disabilities
We would really value your input in helping us with this. Please read the attached draft Relationships and Sex Education Policy and the accompanying Letter to Parents to find out how you can share your feedback.
