Message from the Headteacher
Welcome to Penn Hall School!
I am delighted to welcome you to our website.
Penn Hall School meets the needs of children and young people aged 3 – 19 with physical disabilities, complex medical needs and a range of learning and communication needs. We serve Wolverhampton and also offer some places to neighbouring local authorities. The school's population is wide-ranging and diverse, with pupils from a rich mix of social and cultural backgrounds.
We are very proud of our pupils and support them to make outstanding progress and to succeed. Our aim is for all children and young people to enjoy school and develop important qualities such as self-confidence and respect for themselves and others. We strive to give our pupils the skills to make choices and be as independent as possible. Our onsite residential facility supports the development of independent living skills.
We have high aspirations for all of our pupils expecting them to work hard and to gain as much as possible from the wide range of learning opportunities and bespoke facilities we have to offer. We have a very successful enrichment programme which enables our children and young people to contribute to life in the local and city wide community. Our excellent facilities include a swimming pool, a sensory room, rebound therapy pod and soft play area. We have an outstanding outdoor area which includes accessible swings and roundabout and an adventure trail and woodland walk.
The strong partnership we have between the school, health, care and therapy services, families and pupils enables a holistic approach through a strong multi-disciplinary team working together.
I hope you enjoy looking at our website and that you find all the information you need about our school. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact the school by phone on 01902 558355 or by email firstname.lastname@example.org
