Heres a quick taster of Penn Hall's February 2010 Newsletter
OFSTED Inspection 26/27 January 2010
I am delighted to be able to report that our school received an overall Grade
One judgement which therefore identifies Penn Hall as an ‘Outstanding
School’.
The Inspection Team reported that the school is highly valued by its
students, their parents and others who benefit from its Outreach Service.
They noted that its greatest resource is the staff team:
‘Staff are strongly committed to the school and work tirelessly and
exceptionally well as a multi-disciplinary team to continually improve the
provision.’
They note that behaviour is outstanding as are attitudes to learning which
should make all our parents feel very proud. So - well done to all the
children for their efforts and determination. The Inspectors also reported
that our students benefit greatly from the outstanding curriculum, care,
guidance and support provided. In a letter to the students themselves the
inspectors recognised their contribution to the school and its wider
community whilst also congratulating them on their ability in winning
competitions in both enterprise and sports.
