International Comenius Project
In 2008 the school was accepted into an International Comenius school project titled, “Healthy Mind, Healthy Body, Healthy Environment”. We have nine partner schools from nine different countries, theses are, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Portugal, Bulgaria, Spain, Italy, Turkey and Lithuania. The Pupils learn about different countries by e-mailing partner schools and sending DVD’s of projects and drama productions.
Over the last two years the Comenius European Grant has enabled staff and pupils to visit other countries and take part in multi-cultural activities.

In May 2010 our European friends came to Wolverhampton and visited Penn Hall School for a week. We visited The Black Country Museum, Warwick Castle, Stratford, Birmingham and London.
Penn Hall students have used different technologies to keep in touch with our partners, and have told them a great deal about Britain and our way of life.
This has been a very successful project which has involved the whole school and had an impact on both Teaching and Learning.
2012
Two young people associated with our school have been selected to attend a Youth Camp in Norway during the summer organised by Rotary International. They will spend two weeks at the beginning of the summer break at a camp near Haraldvangen about 80 km north of Oslo.
The aims for the camp are:
To integrate physically disabled and able bodied youth through sport and other activities.
To build international friendship and understanding between the participants
To teach the participants about Norway and Norwegian culture.’
There is an exciting programme of events and a fantastic opportunity – we wish them both well and look forward to hearing about all their adventures on their return.
