Practicing correct grasping techniques and sitting position Motor Based Learning programmes are offered throughout the week. These programmes include Sit/Stand, Plinth, Mat, Mobility and Fine Motor tasks, which also form an integral part of the whole school day. Each programme contains a high percentage of material drawn from the Early Learning Goals for the Foundation Stage and the National Curriculum requirements for Key Stage One.

Curriculum material is delivered through a multisensory approach. Programmes promote an active way of life and develop self-realisation of what the child can do. The children are taught via a holistic approach and thereby learn the connection between language and movement.
