Physiotherapy
At Penn Hall there is a team of qualified physiotherapists who are supported
by four physiotherapy assistants.
If a child has any physiotherapy needs they will be assigned to a physiotherapist who will carry out an assessment and then set up relevant programmes and organise appropriate equipment
Children’s physiotherapists are experts in the assessment and treatment of paediatric conditions and they have attended postgraduate training courses in specific areas of interest within this field. Physiotherapists also work closely with consultants, occupational therapists, nurses, speech and language therapists, wheelchair services and many other medical professionals.
Physiotherapists can be contacted through the school and are more than happy
to offer advice and assistance where appropriate.
