Friends of Penn Hall
The
Friends of Penn Hall School is a social and fundraising committee of staff,
parents and friends who support the work of our very special school.
Following the AGM held on Friday 2 February 2007, the following officers were elected:
Chairman: Mr Colin Ward
Vice Chairman: Mr Julian O’Reggio
Secretary: Mrs Mary Baines
Treasurer: Mrs Jane Whittall
'The Friends' is a good example of co-operation between parents and
staff in the organisation of events, which regularly include:
Summer
Fair/Barbeque
Christmas
Fair/Brass Band Concert
Quiz
Nights/Raffles
The proceeds from these events provide equipment and activities for the
children of Penn Hall School, and recently this has included
the purchase of:
Specialist
Communication Aids
ICT
equipment and software
Theatre/Cinema
visits
Residential
Holidays
Equipment
for Music Department
Support
for the Adventurous Activity Area in our Woodland
